It is unfortunate that we have this news to share. Alterna Comics has cancelled their title 'Alterna Tales Anthology'. The cancellation comes before the release of the books fifth issue. While it is always a loss when any title by any company is cancelled, this one directly affects the Lone Castle team. Issue five of 'Alterna Tales Anthology' was to contain within its pages, the first published work by Shaun Ironside, Tresa Rees- Bulmer, and John Bulmer as a group. Their contribution being a five page black and white story titled 'The Song'.
The Lone Castle team all would like to extend their thanks to Peter Simeti of Alterna Comics for his work in getting 'The Song' as close to publication as he did. It has been a wonderful learning and motivational experience for all of us. We would also like to wish him the best of luck with all the other titles Alterna Comics has to offer.
We will continue as always, to work hard on all of our other projects as well as find a new home for 'The Song'.
"This is just a bump in the road, there will be more bumps as the road continues but the road is long and all roads lead to a destination."
